AES Forces Claim Heavy Losses Inflicted on Terrorist Groups Across Three Fronts

The armed forces of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) have claimed to have inflicted heavy losses on terrorist armed groups during coordinated military operations conducted on three fronts across Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
The claim was made in a statement circulated on Tuesday, which identified the affected locations as Gaweri in Burkina Faso, Ségou in Mali and Torodi in Niger.
According to the statement, the operations were carried out simultaneously by the respective national armed forces, resulting in significant casualties among the terrorist groups.
The AES said the coordinated operations demonstrated the growing military cooperation among the three member states in confronting insurgency and terrorism across the Sahel region.
