The Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has carried out precision strikes on suspected ISWAP terrorists in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State.
Security sources said the operation was executed following credible intelligence on terrorist activities within the forest.
The air assets engaged identified targets, leading to the disruption of suspected ISWAP elements operating in the area.
The sources noted that the mission formed part of sustained aerial offensives aimed at degrading terrorist capabilities and supporting ground troops in ongoing counterterrorism operations.
According to the sources, the strikes were conducted successfully, as air surveillance continues to monitor movements within the forest and adjoining areas.
