Another victim attacked in Dirdep as violence raises fresh security concerns in Mangu

Another resident has been attacked around the Anguwan Mai Jirgi axis of Dirdep in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, in a fresh incident raising concerns over the security situation in the area.

The victim, identified as Salisu Ibrahim, popularly known as Kawu, was reportedly attacked at about 10 p.m.

According to information available, Ibrahim was severely beaten during the incident and sustained a serious leg injury, with reports indicating that the leg may have been fractured.

The latest attack has renewed calls for stronger security presence and faster response to incidents in vulnerable communities across Mangu.

Residents have been urged to remain calm and avoid retaliatory actions that could further escalate tensions.
