Armed robbers struck Efab Global Estate in the early hours of May 21, 2025, gaining access through the rear perimeter fence and tying up two security personnel while injuring another. The robbers carted away laptops and mobile phones during the attack.
Police sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred around 0405 hours, prompting a distress call to the DPO Life Camp Division.
The sources said that Police patrol teams quickly responded but found that the suspects had fled the scene.
The injured security guard was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) for treatment and is currently in stable condition. One of the victims was also forced to make a transfer to a bank account, which police are using to track the suspects.
Security has since been strengthened around the estate, and efforts to gather credible intelligence in collaboration with vigilantes and the community have been intensified.
