Bandits attack Agama Lafia village in Tsafe LGA, two dead, one injured

Two people were killed and one injured in a banditry attack on Agama Lafia village in Tsafe Local Government Area, Zamfara State, on April 21, 2025.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that at about 0620hrs, three armed bandits, riding on a motorcycle, entered the village and opened fire on residents.
Three victims were injured in the attack. Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA were swiftly deployed to the village but the bandit had fled. The injured victims were rushed to General Hospital Tsafe for treatment.
Two of the victims, identified as Sanusi Tasi’u and Kabiru Hamisu, succumbed to their injuries on arrival at the hospital. The third victim is currently receiving treatment and is in stable condition.
The bodies of the deceased have been released to their families for burial according to Islamic rites. Increased patrols have been deployed in the area to improve security and prevent further incidents.
