The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the release of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
This is contained in a public announcement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, and made available to the News newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to the statement, applicants who submitted applications for the recruitment exercise are advised to visit the official portal of the Board — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise.
Jibril said shortlisted candidates are expected to confirm their Computer Based Test (CBT) centres, dates, and times as indicated on the portal.
He warned applicants to be wary of fraudulent individuals or fake websites claiming to represent the Board, emphasising that the official portal remains the only valid source of information on the recruitment process.
“All applicants are strongly advised to take note of the Board’s portal address highlighted above to avoid being scammed,” he said.
The Secretary reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to a transparent and merit-driven recruitment process aimed at strengthening the nation’s paramilitary institutions through competent and dedicated personnel.
