Fire Destroys 180 Shops in Mai’adua Market in Kataina, No Casualties Reported

A fire outbreak at Mai’adua Market in Mai’adua Local Government Area of Katsina State has destroyed about 180 thatch shops, authorities confirmed on Friday.
Eye witness told Zagazola Makama that the inferno started around 10:30 a.m., prompting
Firefighters, traders, and residents worked together to put out the blaze before it could spread further. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities are assessing the extent of the damage. An investigation is underway to establish the source of the outbreak and evaluate the total value of property lost.
