Fulani Man Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Brother to Death in Kaduna Community

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have arrested a 20-year-old Fulani Man for allegedly stabbing his elder brother to death during a domestic dispute in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 8:00 a.m. on Aug. 2 at Ungwon Hausawa Village, Gidan Waya District.
According to the sources, troops of Sector 7 OPEP responded to a distress call over the stabbing of a Fulani man by his younger brother.
On arrival, the troops found the victim critically injured and immediately evacuated him to the General Hospital, Kafanchan, where he was later confirmed dead by medical personnel.
The suspect, identified as Abubakar Usman, 20, was arrested at the scene by the troops and taken into custody for further investigation and necessary legal action.
Security sources said the motive behind the fatal stabbing is yet to be established, while investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the incident.
Meanwhile, troops of Operation Enduring Peace have continued routine patrols across their Joint Operations Area, maintaining security around schools, places of worship and other critical national infrastructure as part of measures to sustain peace and prevent criminal activities.
