Police foil robbery attempt at NYSC lodge in dass, Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has foiled an armed robbery attempt at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) lodge in Dass town, Dass Local Government Area of the state.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday when yet-to-be-identified hoodlums broke into the lodge at Bayan Padah area through a window in an attempt to steal mobile phones.
The sources explained that the suspects fled on sighting a police patrol team, abandoning their mission.
The sources added that one Dauda Yunusa sustained minor injuries during the incident, but was treated and discharged at Dass General Hospital.
The sources said efforts had been intensified to track down and arrest the fleeing suspects.
