Police operatives rescue 14 kidnapped victims in Akwa Ibom

Security operatives have successfully rescued 14 kidnapped victims in Akwa Ibom State following a coordinated joint operation.
Security sources said the rescue was carried out sequel to an earlier reported kidnapping incident on April 20.
The sources disclosed that the operation involved a collaborative effort among multiple security agencies, leading to the safe recovery of all victims without injuries.
According to the sources, those rescued include a military personnel, an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), a student of the University of Calabar, and a JAMB candidate, among others.
The sources added that efforts are ongoing to track down and apprehend the perpetrators for prosecution.
