Three ISWAP terrorists have surrendered to troops of 242 Recce Battalion in Monguno, Borno State, after fleeing their enclaves around the Timbuktu Triangle.
Army said that the terrorists cited disillusionment and fatigue as reasons for their surrender.
Meanwhile, intelligence-led air strikes by the Air Component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA at Gebe Primary School in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State have decimated several terrorists and their leaders.
The operation followed credible intelligence indicating that a large gathering of terrorists was taking place at the location.
