Troops of the Nigerian Army, in collaboration with members of the Hybrid Force, have arrested a 20-year-old suspected terrorist informant in Ngamdu town, Borno State.

Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the suspect, identified as Mr Yuram Mustaphage, was arrested at about 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2026, following credible intelligence.

The operation was conducted by troops of 154 Task Force Battalion, 29 Task Force Brigade, under Sector 2, working alongside the Hybrid Force.

The suspect, who reportedly hails from Wasaram Kadauri village in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State, was trailed and apprehended over alleged involvement in providing information and support to terrorist elements.

He is currently in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.
The arrest forms part of ongoing efforts by security forces to dismantle terrorist intelligence and support networks, particularly individuals suspected of providing information, facilitating movements and assisting insurgents operating across the North-East.

The military has continued to intensify intelligence-driven operations aimed at identifying and disrupting collaborators and logistics networks supporting terrorist activities in the region.
