Troops Arrest Suspected Criminal, Recover Locally Made Pistol in Plateau

Troops of Sector 4 of Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a suspected criminal and recovered a locally fabricated pistol in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security sources said the operation was carried out at about 1:54 p.m. on July 11 following credible reports about the activities of a suspected criminal in the Katako area of the local government.
According to the sources, troops responded swiftly to the intelligence, apprehended the suspect at the scene and recovered a locally made pistol during the operation.
The suspect and the recovered weapon are currently in military custody pending further investigation and other necessary actions.
The arrest is part of ongoing security operations aimed at curbing criminal activities and enhancing public safety across Plateau State.
