Troops arrest suspected ISWAP collaborators in Borno

Troops under Sector 3, Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested three suspected ISWAP/JAS collaborators in Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State.
Security sources said the suspects were apprehended at about 1:20 p.m. on April 12 in the Abari general area following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in terrorist support activities.
According to the sources, troops recovered 12 pairs of suspected terrorist uniforms, 176 bottles of herbicide, 22 wrappers, 24 children’s clothing items, one mosquito net, one mat and the sum of N15,500.
They added that the suspects are currently in custody for further investigation and necessary action.
The sources noted that operations aimed at dismantling terrorist logistics and support networks are ongoing in the area.
