Troops Arrest Two Suspected Armed Robbers in Nasarawa

Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested two suspected armed robbers following a swift response to a distress call in Nasarawa State.
Security sources said that the incident occurred at about 7:00 p.m. on April 20 at the Country Club Market area in Keana Local Government Area.
The troops, deployed under Sector 2 of Operation Whirl Stroke and stationed at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Giza, were said to have responded promptly after receiving reports of an armed robbery attack in the area.
According to the sources, the troops arrived at the scene and successfully apprehended two suspects allegedly involved in the incident.
The suspects were immediately taken into custody and later handed over to the Nigeria Police Force in Keana Division for further investigation and prosecution.
Military authorities said the swift intervention of the troops helped restore calm in the area and prevented further escalation of the incident.
