Troops killed 8 ISWAP fighters, recovered 4 motorcycles, other items

The Troops of the Operation Hadin Kai have nutrialised eight Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP), terrorists fighters in an ambush along Maiduguri- Damaturu highway.
It was gathered that the troops on fighting patrol came in contact with terrorists at a crossing points in the axis of Minok, who attempted fleeing but were swiftly intercepted by the troops.
An Intelligence Sources, told Zagazola Makama, Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad, that the troops nutrialised eight terrorists on four motorcycles and recovered large quantities of logistics meant for the terrorists.
He said other items recovered were “a large quantity of psychedelic and sex enhancement drugs, pesticides, insecticides, food stuff as well as weapons.
Varieties of drugs such as Tabs ciprofloxacin 500mg, Tabs flagul 200mg, Caps ampiclox,Tabs cataflam 50mg,Tabs actifed, Inj gentamycine 80m, Inj paracetamol ,Tabs fulcin, Caplet greentol, Tabs emzor paracetamol, Infusion ciprofloxacin, Tabs kaka forte, S/needle and Spirit, were also recovered from them.
The sources said that the drugs was meant for the treatment of wounded fighters involved in a deadly infighting between ISWAP and Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa forest.
