Troops receive a 10 escapees of Boko Haram  abduction in Gwoza, Borno

Troops of 82 Division Task Force Battalion have received 10 escapees of a previous Boko Haram abduction in Ngoshe Community, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

 

Security sources said that at about 6:30 a.m. on March 24, the troops took custody of three adult females and seven minors who were abducted by terrorists during an attack in Ngoshe on March 3. 

 

The victims reportedly escaped and returned to the military camp in Ngoshe.

 

The escapees disclosed that their abductors are based at Chinene terrorist enclave, where a known militant leader, Ali Ngulde, resides. 

 

They also revealed that the chief Imam of Ngoshe Central Mosque was among those abducted and remains in captivity.

 

Authorities said profiling and further investigations are ongoing to facilitate the rescue of remaining captives and track the terrorists.
