Troops rescue kidnapped victim in Katsina

Troops of 17 Brigade, Operation FANSAN YAMMAN, have rescued a kidnapped victim in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.

 

Zagazola Makama learnt  that the victim, identified as Mallam Yakubu Abdullahi, 55, a tea seller, was rescued at Zango Hills after escaping from terrorists.

 

“He was abducted on Sept. 27 along with two others on their farm at Bagoma Road in Kankara. He managed to escape while the terrorists fled into the mountains with the other victims,” the source said.

 

He added that the rescued victim was being profiled and would soon be reunited with his family.
