Troops Rescue Three Kidnap Victims in Kaduna

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have rescued three kidnapped civilians during a swift response operation in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Security sources said the troops of 2 Nigerian Military Formation (2 NMF) acted on credible intelligence on terrorist activities at about 1:00 a.m. on April 21 at Kushere Village.
On arrival at the scene, the troops discovered that three civilians had been abducted by suspected terrorists.
The troops immediately pursued the fleeing assailants and engaged them in a gun duel, forcing the terrorists to abandon the victims and escape.
The rescued victims were safely reunited with their families.
The sources added that troops have continued to dominate the general area to deny the terrorists freedom of action and prevent further attacks.
