Army troops arrest criminal in Gassol LGA, Taraba during joint operation

Army troops of 6 Brigade in Taraba State have arrested a suspected criminal during a joint operation in Shagada Village, Namnai Ward, Gassol Local Government Area.
The raid, conducted on Tuesday by troops of 6 Brigade in collaboration with Department of Intelligence and Analysis operatives, followed credible intelligence.
The suspect, identified as Abdulmudallabi Audu, 25, was apprehended with an AK-47 rifle, two magazines, and 53 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition. He and the recovered items are now in custody for further investigation.
Troops returned to base safely at about 4:15 p.m., with morale described as high, highlighting ongoing military efforts to curb criminal activities and ensure security in vulnerable communities across Taraba State.
