Burkina Faso: Fighting forces dismantle terrorist base in Tangali forest, killed several insurgents

July 23, 2023: The Burkina Faso's Security and Defense Forces (SDF) and the Volunteer Defence Group have neutralized several terrorists and recovered equipment.
The insurgents came under heavy fire on Saturday July 22, 2023 when the fighting forces stormed one of their hideout’s in Tangali Forest.
The attack triggered heavy gunfight with the troops leaving several of the fighters killed and their base destroyed.
The troops seized firearms, explosive devices, bicycles, fuel and other logistics of the terrorists.
