Gunmen kill one, abduct two in Barkin Ladi, Plateau

Gunmen have killed one person and abducted two others in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau,

 

 

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 12:15 a.m. when some youths were ambushed on their way to Barkin Ladi town.

 

“Unknown gunmen opened fire on the victims, killing one Dayes Alexander, 25, while two others identified as Palang Daniel, 26, and Gabriel Ayuba, 25, were abducted to an unknown destination.

 

“Security forces were deployed to the scene, combing  of the surrounding bushes is ongoing to rescue the kidnapped victims and apprehend the perpetrators. 

 

The sources  added that the remains of the deceased had been released to the family for burial after an autopsy was declined.
