Kidnapped Pastor Released in Kaduna

Reverend Father Ibrahim James, a 55-year-old pastor of the Catholic Church in Kurmin Rizga, Kauru LGA, Kaduna State, has been released unhurt after being kidnapped earlier this week.
Zagazola Makama was reliably informed that the pastor was reunited with his family following his release on April 25, 2025.
It was not clear whether ransom was paid for his release or it was done through a non kinetic process.
The kidnapping incident, which occurred on April 24, 2025, had led to intensified efforts by the troops of 1 Division of the Nigerian Army in collaboration with other security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators
