The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested seventy-eight suspects during coordinated raids on known criminal hotspots and uncompleted buildings across Abuja.

Police sources said the raids, conducted on May 24 at about 11:40 p.m., involved operatives from G/lada, Maitama, Jabi, Apo, Kabusa, Wuse, Wuye, Life Camp, and Bwari Divisions.

During the operations, police recovered one locally fabricated cut-to-size gun, a toy pistol, a face mask, and quantities of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, along with other illicit drugs.

The sources added that all suspects are currently in police custody undergoing screening and interrogation as part of ongoing efforts to rid the FCT and its environs of criminal elements.
