Police Arrest Three Suspects Over Kidnapping in Kebbi State

The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with the kidnapping of two siblings in Shanga Local Government Area of the state.
Police sources said the incident was reported on June 21 at about 1730 hours by Adamu Aminu of Tashar Rogo Village, Shanga LGA.
According to the report, armed men suspected to be kidnappers invaded the family residence at about 0030 hours on the same day and abducted two brothers, Manu Aminu, 20, and Ibrahim Aminu, 12, both of the same household.
Following the report, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) led a combined team of police operatives and local vigilantes to the scene.
Security sources said the team trailed the suspected kidnappers and subsequently arrested three suspects identified as Bello Alhaji Danballa, Abubakar Alhaji Bello Dan Goronyo (also known as Kire), 25, and Abubakar Alhaji Ladan, 24, all from Kisen Village in Shanga LGA.
Police authorities said efforts were ongoing to rescue the kidnapped victims unhurt.
The command added that the case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet investigation, while operations to track remaining suspects continue.
