Popular thug dies in Kaduna, residents react with mixed feelings

Reports from Kaduna State indicate that a notorious thug, popularly known as Habu Dan Damisa, has died.
The death of the young man, a resident of Tudun Wada area of Kaduna, occurred on Wednesday and has sparked mixed reactions among residents.
While some community members expressed relief, celebrating the news of his passing, others showed sympathy, describing his death as a reminder of life’s fragility.
“He was accused of terrorising the community and allegedly responsible for the killing of several people. But as for us, all we can say is, may Allah forgive our dead and guide our offspring,” one resident said.
Zagazola reports that Dan Damisa was widely feared in the area due to his violent lifestyle, but his demise has left the community divided between grief and celebration.
