Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist Linkman in Kogi State

Troops of 12 Brigade have arrested a suspected terrorist at Agbadu community in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State during a security operation on May 21.
Security sources disclosed that the suspect was apprehended at about 6:00 p.m. by troops deployed at Adankolo blocking position as part of ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities in the state.
Preliminary investigation reportedly indicated that the suspect had links with a suspected terrorist leader identified as Kachallah Auta.
Further examination of the suspect’s mobile phone allegedly revealed frequent communication with the said terror leader, raising concerns over possible involvement in coordinated criminal activities.
Troops recovered one mobile phone and a cash sum of ₦1,500 from the suspect at the time of arrest.
The suspect is currently in military custody for further investigation and subsequent action.
Security authorities have continued to intensify operations across Kogi State and adjoining areas to dismantle criminal networks and enhance public safety.
