Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist Logistics Supplier, Informant in Maiduguri

Troops of the 7 Division Provost Group have arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of supplying logistics and intelligence to Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State.
Security sources said the suspect, identified as Mohammed Bulama, a resident of Mafa Local Government Area, was apprehended at about 4:30 p.m. on June 1 during surveillance operations within the Maiduguri Metropolitan Council area.
The arrest took place at Ngawom, Muna Garage, following intelligence-led monitoring by security personnel.
According to the sources, preliminary investigations indicated that the suspect was involved in providing logistical support and information to terrorist elements operating in the region.
During interrogation, Bulama reportedly confessed to knowing other members of the insurgent group and expressed willingness to assist security forces in identifying and apprehending them.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the 7 Division Provost Group for further investigation and necessary action.
