Troops Foiled Banditry and Kidnapping Attempt in Katsina

A banditry and kidnapping attempt was foiled by the troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA in the early hours of April 9, 2025, in Kafin Soli, a village in Kauyen Danko, Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State 

 

Sources told Zagazola Makama at approximately 1:00 a.m., a group of armed men, suspected to be bandits, stormed the village. Upon receiving the distress call, troops swiftly mobilized joint patrol teams to the area. A confrontation ensued, and the bandits were forced to flee the village.

 

While the immediate threat was neutralized, efforts are ongoing to track down and eliminate the perpetrators.
