Troops repel terrorists in katsina, recover motorcycle, phone

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMAN (OPFY) have repelled a terrorist ambush along Sheme–Kankara road in Katsina State.
Zagazola learnt that the incident occurred on when troops deployed to 17 Brigade encountered the terrorists at Ruwan Godiya crossing point.
The soldiers engaged the criminals in a firefight, forcing them to flee and abandon their belongings.
Items recovered at the scene include a motorcycle and an Infinix mobile phone.
Troops have intensified patrols in the area to deny terrorists freedom of action.
