Police arrest 14 more suspects over attack on Rano Divisional Headquarters in Kano, killing of DPO

The police in Kano have arrested 14 additional suspects in connection with the recent attack on the Rano Divisional Police Headquarters.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the arrests followed a coordinated house-to-house raid conducted by tactical teams deployed in Rano under the leadership of the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations (ACPOL DOPS), ACP Suleiman Aliyu Gusau.
The raid was carried out around 1:30 a.m. on May 29, following intelligence gathered in the aftermath of the attack.
Sources in the Command said those arrested include: Abdullahi Ibrahim, Sani Umar, Yusuf Aliyu, Jibrin Abdulsalam, Dahiru Usman, Ibrahim Usman, Ismail Usman, Rabiu Usman, Abdullahi Dahiru Sale, Ladi Ismail (female), Usaini Salisu, Musa Hassan, Mohammed Adamu Abdul, and Umar Mohammed.
“They are all suspected to have actively participated in the attack on the Rano Police Divisional Headquarters,” the statement read.
The sources said that the command assured that a discreet investigation is ongoing to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the incident and to bring all culprits to justice.
