Suspected bandits kill three farmers in Kankara, investigation ongoing

Three persons were killed by suspected armed bandits while clearing their farmlands at Azkwai Yalwa Village, Gidan Daudu, Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.

 

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the  victims, identified as Isah Zangon Daura, Mani Zangon Daura, and an unidentified male, were attacked on May 21 at about 5:30 pm.

 

Nigerian Army troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA in conjunction, police and Civilian JTF (C-Watch), were swiftly  mobilized to the scene, but the attackers escaped before security forces arrived.

 

The victims were rushed to the General Hospital, where they were confirmed dead by medical doctors. 

 

Their bodies were later released to the village head for burial.
