Troops arrest impostor posing as soldier in Adamawa

Troops of Sector 4 have arrested a suspected impostor allegedly posing as a soldier at Tsamiya Checkpoint in Barama, Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the suspect was apprehended at about 6:40 p.m. on Sept. 27, 2026, while allegedly parading himself as a military personnel.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect reportedly dressed in military uniform to defraud unsuspecting civilians.

Troops recovered one mobile phone, one power bank and one MP3 player from the suspect.

The suspect remains in military custody for further investigation and appropriate action.
