Troops Arrest Three Kidnappers in Cross River

Troops of 245 Battalion deployed under Operation UDO KA have arrested three suspected kidnappers in Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Security sources disclosed that the suspects were apprehended at about 7:45 a.m. on Saturday during a military operation in the area.
The sources said the troops also recovered a vehicle allegedly used in the criminal activity.
According to the sources, the suspects were subsequently handed over to 13 Military Intelligence Regiment for further investigation and necessary action.
The sources added that the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to curb kidnapping and other violent crimes within the South-South region.
