Troops of the Forward Operating Base (FOB), Audu Fari, have destroyed suspected terrorists’ hideouts during a fighting patrol in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.

Military sources said the operation was conducted at about 9:22 a.m. on May 24 around Ekah community within the Audu Fari general area.

According to the sources, the troops, while carrying out the patrol, discovered suspected terrorist enclaves concealed within the area.

The hideouts were subsequently destroyed in situ to deny criminal elements freedom of action within the community and adjoining areas.

The sources added that the operation formed part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and sustain military dominance across vulnerable communities in the state.
