Troops Rescue Seven Kidnap Victims in Kwara

Troops of Sector 1, Operation SAFE HAVEN? have rescued seven kidnap victims during a night patrol in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The troops, deployed at Gada, rescued the victims at about 9:00 p.m. on Aug. 18 while conducting a night patrol around the Latandaji general area.
The operation followed the troops’ sustained patrols aimed at denying criminal elements freedom of action and protecting communities within the area of responsibility.
The seven victims were successfully rescued and are currently in the custody of the troops for further action.
Security sources said the rescue was part of ongoing operations to disrupt kidnapping networks and protect residents in vulnerable communities across the state.
Troops are expected to sustain patrols and other security operations within the area to prevent further abductions and ensure the safety of residents and commuters.
