Troops rescue injured farmer after attack by Fulani herder in Plateau

Troops of Sector 3, Operation ENDURING PEACE, have rescued an injured farmer following an attack by Fulani herder at Reiwanku Village in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2026, when the troops responded to a distress report concerning an attack on Mr. Agaga while he was on his way to his farm.
According to security sources, the troops arrived at the location and found the victim with injuries sustained during the incident.
The troops evacuated him to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Investigation is ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify those responsible.
Security forces have continued to maintain vigilance in the area to protect farming communities and prevent further attacks.
